Yesterday, I had the pleasure of shooting a TV interview at NousTV, which is located in the town of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Upon my arrival, I was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the crew. As I settled in, I quickly felt a genuine connection with the host, whose enthusiasm and curiosity made the entire experience enjoyable from the very start. The conversation flowed naturally and freely, creating an engaging dialogue that continued even after the recording was done, allowing us to explore various topics in a relaxed and friendly manner.
During our discussion, we delved into the details of my books, exploring the themes and inspirations behind my writing. I shared insights into how the translation process works, highlighting the work and attention to detail involved in maintaining the essence of the original text while making it accessible to a broader audience.
We also took the opportunity to discuss my upcoming projects, which are particularly exciting and reflect my evolving creative journey. Naturally, we couldn't miss the chance to talk about the movie adaptation project that is currently in progress.
As we wrapped up our conversation, we shifted our focus to my charity anthology, which is set to be released in 2025, a project that is very close to my heart as it aims to support Ste-Justine's children's hospital, while showcasing the talents of various writers. Overall, the interview was not just an opportunity to promote my work, but also a meaningful exchange of ideas and stories that left me feeling inspired and invigorated.
